Vodenna makes fine jewellery in small numbers. Every piece is cast in recycled 18k gold, set and polished by hand, and checked twice before it leaves the workshop.
We started with a simple idea: the pieces people keep are the ones that ask nothing of them. No logo, no season, nothing that dates. A band that slides on in the morning and is still there at night. A pearl on a chain that goes with everything because it competes with nothing.
We work with a short list of suppliers we know by name. Gold is recycled and hallmarked. Sapphires and pearls arrive with their origin on paper. When a piece is finished, one of us wears it for a day before it is photographed, because that is the only honest test.
